Your GPS unit might know where you are located, but do you know where your handy GPS unit is located. According to the Sandy Springs Police Department, the units are becoming more and more popular to steal. Authorities suggest that you completely remove them from your car rather than put them under your seat or in the glove compartment. That is the first place thiefs look. Also, wipe off the suction cup ring on the window. That is a tell tale sign that you have a unit.
