Most Sandy Springs residents, as well as those from Dunwoody, know of the Swamp of Dunwoody, on Dunwoody Club Drive. The owner wanted to subdivide the property but Fulton County denied his request. He went on to sue the County but lost. His case was a story on Sixty Minutes that highlighted the Dunwoody Homeowners Association. The owner, an avid Florida Gators fan, painted the home orange and blue and then utlilized the property for its highest best use which included keeping livestock at his home. This has made the local homeowners upset. Here is an article about his selling the home.
