PILOTING THE PERFECT MOVE

I usually do not make posts that deal with the facts and figures as to how the Atlanta real estate market is doing. I am going to do so today with this post. The below link is to the Housing Trends 2007 report that Harry Norman, Realtors publishes each year. This document is considered the gold standard in terms of commenting on the Atlanta real estate market. This document has been downloading over 17,000 times since it came out last month.

An interesting note is that overall in 2007, we saw an appreciation of home values close to 1%. This is incredible considering all the negative press about the market.

Along with moving our clocks forward one hour, the weather is starting to change for the better. It is time to put on our running shoes and hit the pavement. For me, this is the favorite time of year to run since it is not too cold nor too hot.

Sandy Springs has some great running routes. Over the years I have ran all over the city while training for the various marathons I have run. Many of you have seen me all over the city and sometimes far from home and probably think that I am a bit crazy. Distance running can do that to you. It has helped my real estate since I have gotten a great view of Sandy Springs from the running perspective. Since I am not moving very fast I often have been able to notice things you do not see while racing by in your car.
