There is a lot of information on the web about the North Georgia Mountains. Just google “North Georgia Mountains” and you will find plenty of information. 

 The two BBQ restaurants I mentioned are:

Two Brother’s BBQ – (770)735-2900 – 1695 Old Canton Road, Ball Ground, Ga.  Please call ahead since they are only opened a few days of the week.  Their ribs are some of the best in the state.  I have yet to find any better.

Poole’s BBQ – www.poolesbarbq.com – East Elijay. This bbq is fantastic.  Poole’s has a unique atmosphere which you will enjoy.  Be sure to spend some time reading the famous names on “Pig Hill of Fame”.
